Connecting with local people
Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the vineyard is part of a landscape that people care deeply about. Sharing its beauty and purpose with the local community sits at the heart of what we do.
We’re fortunate to be part of the North Nibley parish with a thriving biodiversity group, linked to the Wotton Area Climate Action Network. This means there’s a wonderful base of volunteers who have actively supported our biodiversity surveys and planting projects.
We have also hosted insect workshops in collaboration with local ecologist Kathy Meakin, and our ecological approach has been the subject of presentations to local schools and community groups.
